Getting the Best Results

Because the stainless steel layer is thick, the wok needs proper preheating to perform at its best. Add some oil first, then preheat on medium heat for 30 to 60 seconds, or longer on a less efficient cooktop such as ceramic. A heat level of about 7 out of 10 is a good guide. Let the surface and the oil heat through before cooking, and turn the heat down whenever the wok becomes too hot. Avoid high heat, which can damage the non-stick layer as with other non-stick cookware.
